The Angry Shoppers, 1993

Much to catch up on, so much. But first, this story.

There was a band called The Angry Shoppers. This was 1993. They were scheduled to go on some idiotic show called Amok! on Rogers Cable, but four days before the live appearance, their lead singer and lead guitarist quit. Perhaps in a huff.

They asked a poet they knew to stand in as frontperson. During three rehearsals, they fitted their tunes to his poems and he fitted his poems to their tunes.

The drummer is Steve Lederman; the horn player is Ric Bordolotti; the guy on the stick is Chris Chiasson; the guy making sandwiches, I don't remember his name.
