Yeah, sure they do, some stronger than others. some stronger all the time. But we're still here. It's a random, and insignificant and important fact all at the same time. And what are we supposed to do with that?

sometimes maybe it's a brave thing to keep them for the other person, too, the one in the bed, the ones with bandages, the ones aching more.
