In the Métro, at Bastille station,
a bunny rabbit in yellow pyjamas
warns against
trapping our hands
in the doors.
The force of the closing doors
is of a mighty power.
It's all we can do
to clamp our palms
between our knees
to resist
the doors' stubborn pull.
